More new drugstore makeup coming atcha for 2020! Don’t miss my first 2020 drugstore makeup post about foundations and concealers. There have been so many new launches, I had to start categorizing into smaller groups. This post is new drugstore makeup February 2020 edition. I think I’m going to start doing these recaps monthly to keep up with all the new stuff and highlight the best of the best new arrivals.
There is no way to recap all the new drugstore makeup (as much as I would like to know about it all!) I have browsed online to find what’s new and specifically, what looks interesting or special.
If I’m being honest, I’m underwhelmed with new eyeshadow palettes or new mascaras. Is it just me or have you seen one seen them all?
I think I go through phases where certain makeup categories just don’t excite me. As a makeup junkie, I’m looking for something new and SPECIAL! Something that’s at a killer price, a new formula, a new brand or line…ya know?
But these 16 products definitely caught my attention and stopped my scrolling dead in its tracks!
I’m going to quit rambling and jump right into these new drugstore makeup February 2020 products and note why I think they are worth trying.
// Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Infinite XL Concealer – $10
They are expanding their Conceal & Define line. I’m not sure if this is a new formula for the original conceal and define concealer or a secondary formula? The description says it’s “their best ever full coverage” and the original one is still online so assuming it’s another product all on its own in a bigger tube if you are looking for even more coverage.
// Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Satte Matte Powder Foundation – $11.00
Powder foundations rarely everrrr catches my attention but this one did. I think powder foundations are starting to make a comeback. I haven’t tried one in literal YEARS. If you are oily, this might be right up your alley!
// Wet n Wild Prime Focus Primer Serum – $7.99
My dry skin is itching to try this (ha!) and I love that it’s water-based. This could pair really well with their original or dewy Photo Focus foundation which I just talked about in this post. Face products from Wet n Wild always intrigue me because they are ultra affordable with amazing quality.
// Wet n Wild Photo Focus Loose Setting Powder Banana – $5.99
I’ve heard great things about their original Photo Focus loose powder which is also fairly new. If you are a banana powder gal, get this NOW! I’m sure it’s going to be great.
// Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Pomade – $3.99
Wet n Wild is coming out with all these brow products which I don’t think they’ve ever had?!….which is so strange now that I think about it. Very odd they’ve never carried brow products until now. They have this pomade but only comes in 1 shade so far.
// Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Micro Brow Pencil – $4.49
Will definitely be trying this ASAP because I’m a skinny brow pencil girl YAY!
// Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Retractable – $4.49
Something for everybody…a thicker and bolder pencil if you don’t love the skinny pencil or pomade format.
// e.l.f Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow – $5.00
Hello Stila glitter eyeshadow dupes…I mean right down to the packaging and for $5?!!! Cannot wait to try these.
// e.l.f Luminous Putty Primer – $8.00
Coming off the success of their original putty primer which is a straight up dupe and you can read about it here. They are coming out with luminous and matte versions in addition to the original. I’m all about the luminous version because I’m always looking for extra hydration in my base products.
// e.l.f Matte Putty Primer – $8.00
The original putty primer is probably more suited for oily skin but if you really need oil control, definitely give this formula a try!
// e.l.f SRLY Satin Lipstick – $3.00
Usually lip products is one of those categories I’m underwhelmed by but these caught my eye because of the price….$3!! That is a steal for a satin lipstick and the shades look beautiful.
// Catrice HD Baking and Setting Loose Powder – $11.00
I believe this is the first loose setting powder Catrice has come out with. They usually have killer base products. I recapped the 5 Best Beauty Products From Catrice that goes more in-depth on their best base products.
// Essence The Blush – $2.99
It looks like Essence discontinued their satin touch blush (I talk about it here) and are releasing a new formulation. I think the satin touch blush only came in 2 shades which was a bummer because it was beautiful. I wanted them to come out with more. So hoping this new blush is even better and so far there are 4 shades so we’re moving in the right direction.
// Ulta Tea Almighty Correcting Face Powder – $12.50
A correcting face powder…the name intrigued me. The formula includes tea tree oil to help treat acne while also reducing shine. Very interesting! If you have acne-prone skin, this could be a great multi-tasking product.
// FLOWER Beauty Day Glow Highlighting Glaze – $10.99
Again another product where the highlighting glaze name caught my attention. The formula claims to have a dewy, glass-like sheen. I love a good sheeny highlight that isn’t glittery or shimmering but softer and toned down. The description is giving me Essense Pure Nude vibes so will definitely be checking this out.
// FLOWER Beauty Heatwave Bronzing Essence – $15.99
Liquid products are quickly taking over powder products in my everyday routine. I don’t know if I’ve really ever loved a liquid bronzer but would love to start experimenting with more for spring and summer! This bronzing essence packaging is beautiful. I love the dropper applicator which will help you really control the amount of product you want.
These are the products I’m most excited about that have just launched at the drugstore. What are you excited to try? Are you in a makeup rut with certain categories like I mentioned above? Let me know in the comments if I’m not the only one. I’m ready for new and special products in 2020 and this new drugstore makeup February 2020 roundup is a great start!
