Are you team primer or no primer? Or are you like me and on the fence about whether primers actually work or are they just a glorified moisturizer? I go back and forth with using a primer when I apply my makeup.
And because I’m not totally sold on if primers are worth it, I’m not about to pay high end prices for one. So affordable drugstore high end primer dupes are what I’m actually going to spend my money on if I’m looking for the same effect at a better price.
I go through primer phases and truth be told, I’m not sure what type of primer I’m even into. Sometimes I grab a moisturizing one, sometimes I grab a gel one that will get tacky, sometimes I grab a pore filling one. And then sometimes I just use moisturizer and skip a primer altogether. I think I jump around because I really don’t know which type is best for my skin and which ones actually make a difference.
But I do like to have something on my face before I go in with foundation. Am I the only one? I feel like my skin needs a little prep…especially now that my skin has moved to the drier end of the spectrum.
With these affordable drugstore high end primer dupes, you are bound to find a dupe that works for you. Brands like Fenty and Tatcha are continuing to come out with more unique formulas and ideas when it comes to primers. I actually just saw that Tatcha will be releasing a liquid Silk Canvas?! So it won’t be long after that release before affordable brands come out with their own versions.

I really enjoy your Posts. I get excited when I receive a new post.. I am a big fan of “Dupes”. Could you possibly do a dupe for these Becca products: Light Shifter Brightening Concealer, Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid and Under Eye brightening Corrector and any other products in the Becca line. Thank you so much for your consideration.

Hi Gail! Thank you so much for commenting and for reading my posts 🙂 That made my day! I would love to do a dedicated Becca dupes post. I will add those specific products to my list for the brand. I will do some research so be on the lookout for it to come soon. Thanks for the suggestion!
