This post is part two of my new affordable makeup on Amazon roundup! If you missed it, check out part one here. All the makeup I spoke about in part one was released on Amazon mid-November so all of those products are still pretty new. But there were so many new products about to release that I had to break it up into two posts so I could talk about it all. I love scouting Amazon for new makeup releases because I can see what products are coming before they are actually released. It’s like a fun sneak peek where you can read about the products and see the shade range etc. So it’s time to jump into part 2 of new affordable makeup on Amazon Winter 2019 edition.
This grouping of products will all be available for purchase on Amazon starting December 15th. Everything is either from Revlon or Covergirl. I love when the big brands have large product releases like these. I feel like there is something for everybody with so many new things to try and choose from.
No use in writing more when I know you are here for the new affordable makeup on Amazon Winter 2019. I list each product below with details about the product, shade range or any similar products that I thought of while I was recapping.
// Revlon PhotoReady Candid Glow Moisture Anti-Pollution Foundation
This formula will give you a glowy finish vs their original candid foundation that provides a natural finish. The formula also boasts antioxidant, anti-pollution and anti-blue light benefits. Claims to have light and buildable coverage and features a pump which I love! I haven’t tried the original candid foundation but this formulation sounds right up my alley. Comes in 16 shades.
// Revlon PhotoReady Candid Anti-Pollution Setting Powder
Does anyone else get confused with the term anti-pollution? Seems like an odd descriptor to go with a makeup product. If I had to guess, I would assume it means the product would protect your skin against pollutants in the air and environment? In the case with this product, Revlon claims these anti-pollution ingredients will help fight aging..? Then why not call it anti-aging? I’m still confused…anybody else? Comes in 4 shades but still translucent with a “hint of tint”
**I actually saw this on Ulta so looks like this isn’t new…maybe just now becoming available on Amazon?
// Revlon Colorstay Micro Hyper Precision Gel Eyeliner
Promotes a hyper-precise micro tip for ultimate precision since the tip is 1.5mm. The eyeliner is waterproof with a gel formula. Because the tip is so small, sounds like it would be great for getting into those hard to reach spots like tight lining, getting really close to your lash line or filling in once you apply falsies. Comes in black, brown and beige.
// Revlon Colorstay Browlights Eyebrow Pencil
Dual-ended eyebrow pencil . One end has a two-toned pencil to both fill in and highlight brows. The other end is a kabuki brush for blending and buffing. The two-toned pencil tip will include two shades in one tip (see picture demonstrating below). Based on the picture, it looks like that even though there are two tones in one pencil tip, the color payoff is a singular shade that’s a blend of the two shades mixed together maybe? It doesn’t look like you will have a striped brow so that’s a good thing! Comes in 6 shades.
// Revlon Skinlights Prismatic Bronzer
Claims to be a shimmery product without the glitter. If you like matte bronzers, this is not the product for you. This would be great for the summer to add extra bronzy-ness to your skin and amplify your bronzer. Comes in 3 shades
// Revlon Skinlights Prismatic Highlighter
Looks like a very similar product to the bronzer but in a highlighter. Also comes in 3 shades. Both the bronzer and highlighter come in 3 shades and the shades don’t seem to give a lot of variation. Based on the pictures online, it looks like all these shades would be best suited for medium skin tones.
// Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipstick
Supposed to be highly pigmented and brilliantly shiny – kind of like a lipgloss in a tube. The formula includes hydrating ingredients to nourish your lips while you wear it. This reminds me of both L’Oreal’s and Maybelline’s versions of the same product. Comes in 25 shades.
// Revlon Photoready Prime Plus Primer
This primer comes in 3 formulas: mattifying + pore reducing, brightening + skin-tone evening, and perfecting + smoothing. Each formula includes some quality skincare ingredients that will not only prime your face but will act as a skincare product while you wear it. Choose the formula that best suits you and watch your skin transform in just a few weeks. They have captured my interest!
// Covergirl Easy Breezy Brow Draw & Fill
A more angular and thicker brow pencil similar to Benefit’s version here. I think these pencils are better for drawing and defining your brows if that is what you need versus just filling them in. I like a soft brow look and just usually fill mine in with a pencil tip. But this Covergirl pencil will give you more definition and structure to your brow. Comes in 4 shades (says it comes in 4 shades but I only see 3 pictured?) with a blender sponge tip on the other end. Would have probably been better to have a spoolie on the other end so hopefully you already have one in your collection if you end up trying this out.
// Covergirl 24HR Khol Eyeliner
Gel formula with a sharpenable tip with claims of 24 hour wear yet easy removal with makeup remover. Comes in 6 shades
// Covergirl Exhibitionist Lip Gloss
Hydrating lip gloss claiming not to be tacky or sticky. Comes in 13 shades
// Covergirl Exhibitionist 24HR Matte Lipstick
Non-drying or cracking formula claiming to increase lip moisture by up to 40%! Very intriguing…! Comes in 12 shades.
// Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk
Claims to have light coverage for all skin types and is infused with coconut milk along with other ingredients for hydration and glow. Kind of sounds like a tinted moisturizer or bb cream to me. Comes in 13 shades.
That’s the roundup you guys! What products are you most excited for? I have my eye on the Revlon Primer Plus and Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk. I’m not a huge face of new brow or eyeliner products. I’m set in my ways with my current fave brow pencil and don’t use eyeliner all the time. So I don’t tend to gravitate towards those new releases. Ohh and I’m also excited for the Covergirl matte lipstick that claims to add lip moisture…hmm! I love a matte lip in the winter.
