Guys I hit the jackpot on Amazon! I usually check their new arrivals every few months to see new and affordable makeup that’s been released. I checked a couple months back and was so disappointed to find nothing new at all! I love creating these new affordable makeup on Amazon posts but was wondering if maybe brands weren’t releasing as much on Amazon anymore. However, to my pleasant surprise, I checked the other day and boy did I find a ton. So let’s jump into a brand new New Affordable Makeup on Amazon round up!
It must have just been the time of year I was checking. I think it was in July or August and that could have been a weird time to check – after summer launches and before holiday – where there may not have been a lot of new releases. But this time when I checked, I saved so many new things that I think I’m going to break it up into a few posts to cover everything.
I narrow in on affordable makeup only because you know me! There is no way I could even begin to cover both affordable and high end makeup. Plus I’m a firm believer in affordable makeup and saving your pennies to achieve a budget-friendly yet high-end worthy makeup look.
This first round up of new affordable makeup on Amazon will feature products being released on Amazon in November. My second post will feature products being released in December. I love when big brands like Maybelline, L’Oreal, Covergirl and Revlon release new products and lines. Seeing all these new releases really got me excited to try new makeup.
I’ll mention what I’m most excited for at the end of the post and what I would truly spend my money on in case you are curious. But enough rambling at this point because I have a lot to cover so let’s jump into these new affordable makeup on Amazon products.
// Maybelline Dream Radiant Liquid Hydrating Foundation
Maybelline’s Dream line continues to grow with this new hydrating foundation. Earlier this year they released their Dream Urban Cover foundation and now here’s her sister in a hydrating and radiant formula! This is right up my alley. The formula is medium coverage (vs the urban cover being full coverage) and comes in 20 shades. The formula includes hyaluronic acid and collagen which are great skin-boosting ingredients.
// Maybelline Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush
Another affordable brand to jump on the cream blush bandwagon! This formula boasts a gel-cream consistency and comes in 6 shades. Interested in how to apply cream blush? Check out my guide on all things affordable cream blush!
// Maybelline The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara
Another addition to their already extensive mascara family! This formula contains fibers claiming to thicken and extend the length of your lashes without clumping, smearing or flaking. The wand is a synthetic fiber brush. This formula comes in a few shade variations along with waterproof versions.
// Maybelline HyperEasy Liquid Pen No Skip Eyeliner
This eyeliner has bold claims of no skipping or gaps in application. Sounds interesting for a gal like me who needs all the help I can get in the liquid eyeliner department. The formula dries to a waterproof matte finish. It looks like there is only one shade in Pitch Black so far.
// Maybelline Brow Fast Sculpt Eyebrow Mascara
This brow gel both adds color and hold to your brows so you can fill in your brows and hold them in place with one product. I was curious as to how this was different than their other brow products like the Tattoo Waterproof Eyebrow Gel and the Brow Drama Sculpting Eyebrow Mascara. It looks like this Brow Fast Sculpt formula is washable and the wand is more spoolie-like whereas the Waterproof Eyebrow Gel will last up to 2 days and the wand is more brush-like but comes with a separate spoolie. The Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara has a mascara like wand which looks a little weird. However, the Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara looks pretty similar to the Brow Fast Sculpt in that its supposed to fill in and set the brows.
Brow Fast Sculpt comes in 8 shades
Tattoo Waterproof Gel comes in 8 shades
Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara comes in 5 shades
// Maybelline Tattoo Studio Long Lasting Sharpenable Eyeliner
I love a good gel eyeliner because they are usually super easy to apply and give great color payoff. I use gel eyeliner to tightline my eyes because that area is so sensitive. This eyeliner is sharpenable which is a great selling point. Sometimes I need a more defined point with tightlining because the space is so small. This eyeliner comes in 9 shades. Once my current eyeliner runs out, I’m totally trying this one!
// L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara – Deep Green
What a beautiful and unique mascara shade perfect for Christmas time! The voluminous formula is so fantastic so if you are into colored mascara, I’m betting you will love this!
// L’Oreal Infallible Tinted Loose Setting Powder
The Infallible line is also growing with the addition of loose setting powders! L’Oreal originally had just one translucent loose setting powder. But with the expansion of colored setting powders across the makeup industry, I’m glad to see they are expanding this for multiple skin tones.
There is a translucent light-medium shade and a translucent medium-deep shade. I’m curious as to how these are both translucent and colored at the same time? You can use this to bake or set your makeup for a lightweight matte finish with no white cast.
// L’Oreal Bambi Eye Mascara
An interesting mascara concept claiming a doe eye / wide-eyed look. The mascara comes in 5 shades with both washable and waterproof formulas. I’m always open to trying a new mascara claiming to give you tons of volume (and if you’ve read my previous posts, you know I’m a waterproof formula type of gal )
// L’Oreal Micro Ink Pen by Brow Stylist
I’ve never seen a brow pencil tip like this! It has a comb tip to brush through your brows while filling them in. It comes in 5 shades. The formula claims to last up to 48 hours and will give your brows a hair-like look while filling them in. I would be really interested to try this but don’t love the idea of the product lasting up to 48 hours. I prefer a washable not waterproof product but it may be perfect for others who would prefer a micro-bladed look without the hassle.
// L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Crayon
First off, I’m a sucker for rose gold packaging! These shades look beautiful. They will have a matte finish but claim to be comfortable, long-lasting and highly pigmented. They come in 18 shades.
// L’Oreal Brilliant Eyes Shimmer Liquid Eye Shadow
These remind me of the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome Liquid Eyeshadows. I love a good liquid shimmer shadow because you get the effect of glitter eyeshadow without the mess. These could be a great dupe for the Stila Glitter shadows! They come in 12 shades and claim to be crease-proof staying put all day.
// L’Oreal Matte Signature Liquid Dip Eyeliner
And last but not least – how stunning is this packaging!! I would buy it for the packaging alone and I’m not a huge sucker for packaging so that’s saying something. The 4 color shade range is also beautiful. That burgundy shade looks stunning. The formula claims to be matte and waterproof with a felt tip applicator.
Oooook that was a lot and this post was just Maybelline and L’Oreal! Wait until my part 2 which will include all kinds of other brands.
Out of all these products, I’m most excited about Maybelline’s Dream Radiant Foundation, Cheek Heats and Sharpenable Eyeliner. And from L’Oreal, I can’t wait to try the Infallible Loose Powder, Bambi Mascara and Matte Lip Crayon. Honestly, I could keep going but these 6 products would be my first picks. What are you most excited to try? Leave me a comment and let me know.
Stay tuned for part 2 coming in a few weeks!
