If you know me then you know I love a good dupe. It’s such a thrill to find an affordable match to a high end makeup or skincare product! You feel like you’ve found a hidden gem and saved money at the same time.
When Kylie first announced her skincare line, I was eager to see what products the line would include. Knowing skincare can be super expensive, I figured her line would come with a higher price tag which made it a perfect fit for dupe research. I scoured some websites and put together a Kylie Skin Dupes post featuring ultra affordable products with similar or near identical claims and ingredients.
I’m far from a skincare expert and am really just beginning my own personal skincare journey which actually started around the time Kylie introduced this line. I do know skincare can be very tricky to fine-tune and the sheer amount of skincare products on the market is overwhelming.
Some of my initial first impressions of this collection were: 1) I was a little skeptical about the performance and benefits of these products and 2) the line seemed to include some basic products at fairly expensive prices because they have her name on them. Anybody else?
Like most celebrity lines or even just high end lines in general, there is a good chance you can find a similar product at a fraction of the price. In full transparency, I haven’t actually tried her products myself but I’ve compared ingredients and formulas to try and find affordable Kylie Skin dupes that are a very close match.
After reading the Kylie Skin product ingredients and benefits, they aren’t anything groundbreaking. So save your money and spend it on these affordable Kylie Skin dupes instead!
I think it will be interesting to see where this brand goes and you have to start somewhere. I definitely think Kylie’s makeup is her sweet spot. But I remember when her cosmetics brand first launched and she had some dudes there too just like any other brand. Maybe her skincare line will have a few knockout products she will be known for.
