Ultra Violet Drugstore Beauty Picks

I’m sure by now you have heard about the color of the year. Ultra Violet is making a big and bold splash and ya know what…I’m here for it! For some it might be a bold color, and I’m a neutral gal through and through so it is for me too. But sometimes it’s good to step out of your comfort zone.

I will admit that I’ve dabbled into purple eyeshadows recently and was very pleasantly surprised at the end result. I have loved the looks way more than I thought I would. I think a bold pop here or there is fun and different every now and then so I’ve rounded up some affordable ultra violet drugstore beauty picks that you can easily incorporate for a trendy pop of color this year!

Most of these products and shades already existed before the color of the year was announced but I know Butter London created a whole collection around Ultra Violet that you can buy at Ulta. No matter what your comfort level is with this color, you can easily incorporate it. Whether it’s in a more subtle way as a nail color or a in a bold way as a lip color, I think you will be surprised at how much you like it!

I want to start wearing more bold lip colors this year so I’m going to try and incorporate a purple lip into my looks! I’ve already experimented with some fun purple eyeshadow looks that I mentioned earlier using my Morphe 35F palette which has a bunch of different purple/violet shades.
