There is just something eye-catching about Cara’s coral lip in this picture! It is such a stunning coral color that reminds me of summer. I’ve seen this makeup look many times before, but recently it inspired me to do a post recreating the look with affordable products. With summer approaching, there are few things I love more than a bold and fun summer lip with fresh skin and big lashes. It’s one of my go-to looks. I’ve picked 6 affordable products that I think make this look and can easily allow you to recreate it!
The features that jump out to me most in Cara’s makeup look are:
1 // Coral lips
Gotta start with the lip color and I think a great lipstick that will give you that bold coral color is the Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor in Coral Crush. I’m bringing it up again because it’s such a stunning coral color and I think would be a perfect dupe for Cara’s lip color.
2 // Blue water line
A subtle part of Cara’s makeup look is her blue waterline (inner rim of her lower lash line). It’s easy to miss but makes her eyes pop once you notice it. The blue color adds another bold color and ties in beautifully with the lip color. Add this Ulta Beauty Collection Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Aqua to the waterline for a pop of color that’s simple and not overpowering.
3 // Bushy brows
Cara has some fierce brows, and they really help to anchor the face and balance the bold lips. Her brows are bushy, thick and a little unkept all while looking pretty natural and not drawn on. 4 // Big lashes
Big and bold lashes are all you need for this look. I love that because it makes your eye makeup simple. No crazy eyeshadow look with tons of blending, colors and tough techniques to try and recreate. 5 // Bronze skin
Any summer makeup look isn’t complete without bronzed skin! Her look isn’t too contoured or defined but just healthy looking bronze skin all around. 6 // Subtle highlight
Last but not least, I noticed Cara had some subtle highlighted areas on her eyelids, inner corners of her eyes and down the bridge of her nose.
