Cue all the gift sets and stocking stuffers people….this is not a drill! The flood gates have opened and all the holiday makeup is hitting the shelves. I’m a sucker for it all but I’m trying to stay focused. This New Drugstore Makeup November 2020 roundup will include new arrivals excluding holiday gift sets, stocking stuffers and products from random brands that pop up around the holidays and disappear the rest of the year.
If you missed the last few months of new makeup releases and want to catch up on what’s new and noteworthy, check out the last few months below:
New Drugstore Makeup October 2020
New Drugstore Makeup September 2020
New Drugstore Makeup August 2020
However, this month has quite a few interesting new arrivals and I’m excited to go into more detail as I list them out below.
New Drugstore Makeup November 2020
e.l.f Putty Primer Trio – $9.00
Includes all 3 putty primers – luminous, poreless and matte – allowing you to customize your finish based on your skin type and skin concerns. This is perfect for my combo-skin girls who might have different patches of dry or oily skin but don’t need those products all over the face.
These look like mini jars compared to the original 0.74 oz jars which are $8 each but the website doesn’t list how many ounces/jar in the trio set so hard to know for sure. Regardless, this is a great deal if you want to try them out – at $3 each, you can’t go wrong!
The next 3 Neutrogena products are a face serum and primer hybrid mixing a little skincare with a little makeup prep depending on your skin type. However, these are toting a hefty price tag at $18 a pop which is reeeeeallly pushing the lines of “drugstore” to me.
Technically these products are two-for-one with both a primer and serum but still. As I was reading the claims, they all sound like a glorified primer to me and don’t make any claims to perform like a true serum. But Neutrogena has a great skincare line so maybe it’s worth the splurge!
Neutrogena Shine Control Matte Primer + Serum – $17.99
Infused with rice protein to help absorb excess oils.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Glow Serum + Primer – $17.99
Expanding on their popular hydro boost line comes this serum and primer hybrid infused with hyaluronic acid
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Radiant Primer + Serum – $17.99
Infused with pearl pigments and Vitamin E to even skin tone and texture for a more radiant complexion.
Makeup Revolution Conceal & Glow Foundation – $12.00
This foundation comes in 8 shades and offers buildable coverage, brightening Vitamin C and light-reflecting pearl particles for the ultimate glowy look. This is now the third foundation in their Conceal and Define line which also includes the Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation in 42 shades and the Conceal & Hydrate Foundation in 8 shades.
It looks like the difference between this Glow foundation and the Hydrate foundation is that the conceal and hydrate formula includes hyaluronic acid and is ideal for dry skin but does not claim to have a glowy finish. Actually, the finish isn’t noted at all. However, the Glow foundation provides a “radiant finish” and I’m assuming will give you a more dewy look to your skin without actually hydrating it.
If your skin needs hydration while you wear makeup all day, go with the Conceal & Hydrate foundation. If you just want the glowy look but don’t necessarily need hyaluronic acid added in, go for the Conceal & Glow foundation.
Makeup Revolution Fix & Glow Ultra Glow Primer – $12.00
Prep your skin and add some glow at the same time. This is one of those products that you could wear alone with no makeup, wear under makeup, or mix in with another liquid product like foundation or tinted moisturizer.
Makeup Revolution Fix & Glow Fixing Spray – $11.00
If you would rather add your glow at the end of your routine instead of at the beginning with a primer, this spray is for you! Spray it after you are all done to add a final touch of glow for a dewy finish.
Ulta Luxe Lipstick – $9.00
The formula is creamy, full color and provides a satin finish. It includes shea butter which will condition and nourish your lips.
Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless Dynamic Mini Palette – $9.00
Each palette includes a variety of 4 finishes: shimmer, matte, glitter and foil. Makeup Revolution has a pretty great eyeshadow formula so these mini palettes are a steal for $9!
L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Blurring Face Primer – $10.99
The formula is infused with a “Caring Serum” and I have no idea what that means? I know what a serum is but have never heard of caring serum. If you know what that is, leave me a comment! The primer claims to smooth the look of lines and pores for a soft-focus finish.
L’Oreal Skin Paradise Water Infused Tinted Moisturizer – $16.99
Comes in 12 shades which is pretty decent for a tinted moisturizer – they usually come in just a handful of shades. The formula is comprised of 70% water plus aloe vera and witch hazel which are both great complexion ingredients. The formula also contains SPF 19.
I love that L’Oreal continues to expand their Paradise product assortment and is now moving into skin products. I’m interested to see if foundation, concealer and powder are in the line up to launch next 🤔
L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation In A Powder – $11.99
A full coverage powder foundation with a matte finish and up to 24 hour wear time. This would be a great product if you have oily skin or need full coverage and long wear. Basically sounds like their infallible pro-matte liquid foundation in a powder form.
The shade range is less than ideal coming in 15 shades. Several of them look to be sold out already so keep checking back for a restock if you can’t find your shade.
I know powder foundation is making a comeback and I’m curious to try it but I just don’t think it would mix with my dry skin type. If you have drier skin and have a go-to affordable powder foundation, let me know what that is and I would love to check it out.
That is it for new drugstore makeup November 2020 releases! I think I’m most excited for the L’Oreal Skin Paradise tinted moisturizer! What are you most excited to try?
