The Best Milani Makeup Products 2017

Milani Cosmetics is one of my absolute favorite brands at the drugstore! Actually, it might be my favorite. I first noticed Milani at my local CVS in high school. Their beautiful makeup products would always catch my eye in their luxe gold packaging. At first, I would just window shop without ever buying anything. I don’t know why I did that actually…maybe because it looked too luxurious for my skill set? Anyway, by now I’ve jumped in head first and put together the best Milani makeup products that I think are worth trying!

Honestly, now that I think about it, the first thing I ever tried from Milani was their nail polish. I bought a light pink shade that I still have! I remember oohing and ahhing over their color range because it always just looked so beautiful.

As I began my makeup video Youtube obsession a couple years ago, I was introduced to all of Milani’s other amazing products. Obviously, I haven’t tried everything in their line but I think these products are some of the best Milani makeup products in their entire collection.

FACE PRODUCTS:

Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation Concealer // This foundation is a game changer! It’s full coverage and probably the most full coverage foundation I’ve ever tried from the drugstore. It has a great satin/natural finish that works no matter what time of year. You definitely wouldn’t have to use concealer with this since it’s 2-in-1 and the coverage is so good. However, I do choose to use concealer under my eyes to brighten.

The only complaint I have is the shade range – there are only a handful of shades sold in store. Now, I’ve realized there are a ton more online! The shades are also yellow based so they don’t match my skin tone very well because I have pink undertones. There is a new shade in 00 light natural online that looks like it would be a better match for me than 01 which is what I currently have. When I repurchase, I’m going to try 00.

Baked Blush in Luminoso // This is a beauty community fave and for good reason! Youtube definitely made me buy this and it took forever to find it in store because it was always sold out. All of their baked blushes are very pigmented and high quality. Luminoso is a peachy/coral color with a gold sheen to it that’s beautiful especially in the summer! I’ve heard they may have changed the shade to be more pink than the original Luminoso. On Youtube, people hold up old ones vs new ones and the new one looks much more pink in the pan so I can’t speak to that but I still think it’s an amazing Milani makeup product!

Strobelight Instant Glow Powder // This is a gorgeous highlight that comes in a ton of different shades for all skin tones. I particularly love it because it’s not a glitterly highlight but more of a sheen that looks so natural! However, the highlighter is buildable even for the most blinding makeup look. This versatility makes it perfect for all types of looks.

Make It Last Setting Spray // I’ve raved about this before and I will do it again! I included this in my ultimate drugstore makeup kit post as well as my new and affordable must-try beauty products for spring 2017.  In my opinion, this setting spray is the best at the drugstore. The mist is ultra fine and it makes your makeup melt into your skin and lock into place. I just can’t say enough about it!

EYE PRODUCTS:

Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow // If you like shimmer eyeshadows, you will LOVE these! They pack intense pigment and come in so many great colors. I bought the shade Bella Copper first which is a beautiful copper/bronze shade that really makes blue eyes pop! The formula is just amazing and they are only $5! You really can’t beat that. The only bummer is my local drugstores aren’t carrying the single eyeshadows anymore so I’m wondering if you can only find them online now? I hope they continue to have them online and won’t discontinue.

Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Palettes // My personal favorite palette is Earthly Elements. This palette is pictured in my graphic. The shades and tones are right up my alley. But the formula in each palette is the same no matter which shades you choose. I personally like these palettes better than the quads they came out with because these come with a couple matte shades and I can make more of a complete look.

Stay Put Brow Color // This brow pomade could compete with any high end brow product at Sephora! The formula stays all day and really looks natural. Normally, I use a brow pencil on an everyday basis because I have a fair complexion and generally brow pencils look less harsh but when I go for more dramatic looks, I go for a pomade and Milani has one of the best!

Eyeshadow Primer // Everyone needs a good eyeshadow primer. Primer makes your eye look more vivid and pigmented plus makes it last all day! I used to use the Urban Decay primers but was never in love with them. Then I heard this primer was just as good and I completely love it! If I’m going for an everyday look, I will just use concealer to prime my eyes. However if I’m using lots of colors or need the look to last all day long, I definitely use primer!

LIP PRODUCTS:

Color Statement Lipstick // Milani has both matte and cream formulas and both are fantastic! They are long lasting and come in dozens of shades. I think out of all their products, Milani lipsticks might be my favorite makeup products. Plus the packaging is just so gorgeous and luxurious!

Amore Matte Lip Creme // These are liquid lipsticks that dry matte and wear for so long! They are highly pigmented and they require just a couple swipes for maximum coverage. Many brands at the drugstore have liquid lipsticks but these might be my favorite! Again, they rival high-end products which is a consistent theme across all Milani product categories. There is also a metallic formula which is just as beautiful and trendy.

Keep It Sweet Sugar Lip Scrub // Lip exfoliators are something I always forget about but feel like I’m constantly in need of especially in the winter. If you are a lip product junkie (especially liquid lipsticks), you need this in your life! It’s exfoliating and moisturizing all in one and smells amazing. It’s spa-in-a-jar yumminess!

NAIL PRODUCTS:

Color Statement Nail Lacquer // It all comes full circle back to the nail polish! This is what first drew me into Milani and I’m still in love with their formula and color range! The colors are always so pretty and feminine!
