If you are new to my “Best of” series, I’ve been choosing one affordable makeup brand and talking about their top 5 products IMO. I don’t know about you, but when I see a new brand or even just one I haven’t tried much from before, I think it can be hard to know what products to try first. What are their best-sellers? What are they known for? I don’t want to waste my money on a dud or write off the brand from one bad experience with one of their products. So next up let’s talk about the 5 best beauty products from Physicians Formula.

So my hope is that these brand round up posts will help you know what products to spend your money on from that brand if you aren’t sure where to start or maybe you’ve had some duds in the past and need a recommendation.
So Physicians Formula and I go wayyyyy back. I’m talking probably middle school days with their face powders and bronzers. I used to live for their bronzer even though it was like $13 at the time. And might I add that a $13 bronzer for an 8th grader might as well be a Nars foundation to me now…goodness! But gosh darnit, I needed it and there truly wasn’t another affordable bronzer as good as theirs was. They actually still sell it in all its mosaic patterned glory. Did anyone else use this “bronzer” that’s actually called a face powder?
Well then the whole brand kind of fell off my radar for a while. But in the last year, I’ve rediscovered them and fallen in love with their bronzer once. again.
The “Butter” and “Healthy” collections have really given the brand new life. That’s what put them back on the map for me.
Here are my top 5 best beauty products from Physicians Formula in no specific order (except the bronzer is #1 because that’s my jam).
1 // Butter Bronzer
I have always struggled to find a good bronzer for my skin tone and complexion. When they came out with the Butter Bronzer, I knew it was going to be good because they’ve nailed bronzers in the past. It smells like coconut beach sunsets in a pan. If you have light skin and are looking for a neutral under-toned bronzer, look no further my friend.
2 // Butter Highlighter
Much like the bronzers, these highlighters smell like coconut heaven and the formula is so unique. It feels very creamy – like butter – but goes on like powder. These will pack a punch so if you want a bold highlighter, you will love these!
3 // Healthy Lip Velvet Liquid Lipstick
The formula is very comfortable and prides itself as being hydrating. It includes some skincare ingredients that the average liquid lip doesn’t have which I think it awesome. I think they named these well by calling them a velvet liquid lipstick because it’s much more comfortable and less drying.
4 // The Healthy Foundation
This foundation is great for normal or dry skin. I love how natural it makes my skin look. With some foundations, I feel like you can see it sitting on top of my skin but this foundation really sinks in and looks like my actual skin but better. It’s probably medium coverage at best and it’s just so pretty.
5 // 2-in-1 Boosting Eyeliner & Serum
I’ve heard several people mention this as a dupe for Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner or Tom Ford Defining Liquid Eyeliner Pen. I’m not a huge liquid eyeliner wearer but this would be one I would go for if I do wear it. And similar to the liquid lip, this eyeliner is a multi-tasker because the formula also includes a lash boosting serum. So when you apply the liner to your lash line, your lashes will get the added benefits of the serum which enhances your natural lashes. That’s actually genius.
And those are my 5 best beauty products from Physicians Formula. As I was scrolling their products online, I realized they basically have a whole skincare line. There is a product for every step of your routine. Has anybody tried their skincare and what are your thoughts? I’m curious to try some of the products so leave me a comment letting me know what you like.
