Identity

In the last year or so, I have recently started to explore my creative side. My creative side has probably laid dormant the majority of my life. It’s my own fault though really. I always pegged myself as a “numbers” person and not a “creative” person – as if you have to be one or the other. Totally untrue. Now that I’ve realized that, I am starting to explore what my creativity looks like which is a big reason why I started this blog.

Anyways, many of the designs I do for fun incorporate scripture, Jesus, and our identity as women. These are all things that I love and being creative with photography, colors, fonts, etc are just fun ways to see these things come to life and hopefully encourage myself and others along the way.

So, one of the things I will be sharing a lot on my blog are these designs and what I feel like the Lord is sharing with me. Think of it kind of like a digital design journal. These are things I would normally write down in a journal as I’m spending time with the Lord but instead, I’m using design and my creativity.

My hope is that these things the Lord is sharing to me would be carved in my heart and I would be consistently reminded of how he views me and what he thinks about me. I also hope these encourage other women as well and give them an identity through Jesus Christ.
